I am a wife and the proud daughter of Charles and Edell Gilley, who are the legacy behind The Majestic Oaks. What started as my parents’ passion project — an iconic Opry house — is now a wedding and event venue serving our community and surrounding areas since 2020. It took 18 months to transform the property into the space it is today, and I really couldn’t be prouder. Throughout the process of this property renovation, I rediscovered my love for design and for creating spectacular events and moments that last a lifetime. The smiles and laughter I see on the faces of those that trust me with their special events fill my heart with unspeakable joy. These are the moments that give me purpose, and on a much deeper level, fill a void in my heart of being something I’ll never get to be. Years ago, cancer robbed me of the opportunity to help my daughter into her wedding dress and watch the tears fall from the face of the one she chose to love, but this venue gives me the chance to fulfill, and live in, that priceless moment with many other moms and families.
